The vision of the commmittee is to enhance staff knowledge and skills with high quality, accessible training and professional development opportunities to support GUC’s vision of achieving excellence in education, research, and professional services.
Mission
The committee shall identify needs and develop programs for personal and professional development of GUC academic staff in order to improve performance, aid in their career advancement, and increase job satisfaction.
Objectives
- To explore the real needs of training and to quantify these needs of the GUC academic staff.
- To prepare, implement, follow-up and evaluation of internal training plans. according to the needs of teaching Assistants and Staff in all fields in easily accessible ways
- To measure the impact of the training on the development of the academic staff.
- To recommend, review, and update the Professional Development resources available at the University in order to facilitate personal and professional development for the academic staff.
- To assist finding interested and expertise staff to share their experience with fellow employees on personal and professional development.
