Vision
The vision of the Academic Curriculum Committee is ensuring that the programs/courses at the faculty of pharmacy and biotechnology, GUC, meet the National and International Academic Standards, and to be a gate for transferring advanced science and technology specially from Germany in the pharmacy and biotechnology fields
Mission
The mission of GUC Academic Curriculum Committee is to provide guidance, advocacy, and oversight for the faculty’s curriculum by ensuring the quality of the curricula and that it is academically sound, comprehensive, and responsive to the evolving needs of the stakeholders and community and to the faculty mission and goals.
Responsibilities
- Promote the educational programs and bylaws according to the Egyptian and German standards, and the feedback by national and international evaluator
- Suggest and follow-up the update and the improvement plans in the curricula
- Assure the achievement of reference standards within the educational programs
- Propose changes in courses, and update the degree requirements and general policies with impact on teaching and learning.
- Show and enhance the points of innovation and differentiation in the curricula compared to national and international ones.
