Assoc. Prof. Nermin Salah (GUC) and Prof. Daniela Schuster (PMU) have recently established a program offering an unparalleled chance for M.Sc. and PhD students to conduct part of their research at PMU. This unique opportunity involves working under the supervision of Prof. Daniela Schuster, a globally renowned scientist specializing in drug discovery and optimization through virtual screening.
Grant Details:
- Covered Expenses: Round-trip flight and a monthly stipend
- Duration: 3 month for M.Sc. degree and 6 for PhD degree
- The M.Sc. or PhD degree are awarded by the GUC.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must:
- Be a newly registered M.Sc. or PhD students at GUC under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Nermin Salah, Prof. Daniela Schuster, and Prof. Ashraf Abadi.
- The fellowship does not exempt the applicant from the GUC postgraduate tuition fees.
Submit the following supporting documents:
- Certificate of proficiency in English (minimum B2 level); GUC certificate indicating English as the teaching language is accepted.
- Updated CV
- Motivation letter or statement of purpose
- Letter of recommendation from an academic supervisor
- Letter of enrollment as an M.Sc./PhD student at the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies, German University in Cairo.
- Travel dates of M.Sc. students should not interfere with M.Sc. courses that must be conducted on campus.
