The Faculty of Pharmacy and Biotechnology at the German University in Cairo signed an agreement with Wadi ElNeel Hospital in a noteworthy step aimed at enhancing the practical and clinical skills of the students of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biotechnology and providing them with a professional path in the field of clinical pharmacy.
This partnership allows students of the faculty to receive comprehensive training in various departments within the hospital, including hospital pharmacy and clinical pharmacy. This training will be conducted under the supervision of specialized physicians and pharmacists from the hospital in collaboration with the academics preceptors of the faculty.
The signing ceremony took place on campus on Tuesday, December 19th 2023. The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Azizi, Dean of the faculty and Prof. Dr. Hazem Khamis, General Manager of Wadi ElNeel Hospital. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Yasser Hegazy, the President of the German University in Cairo, Vice Deans and Heads of Departments of the faculty of Pharmacy and Biotechnology and representatives from the faculty and from Wadi El Nil Hospital.
