The faculty of Pharmacy and Biotechnology is proudly announcing the accolade of two of its members the State Awards for 2022.

Prof. Ashraf Abadi, professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry was awarded the State Award of Excellence in Medical Sciences and Assoc. Prof. Hend Eltayebi associate professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology was awarded the State Award of Encouragement in Medical Sciences.

Prof. Ashraf Abadi is the former faculty dean and currently heads the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department. Assoc. Prof. Hend Eltayebi is a GUC graduate from the first batch of Pharmacy program in 2007. She earned her MSc and PhD in GUC and later was the first GUC graduate promoted to associate professor in PBT.
