Within the series of international visits to the faculty of Pharmacy and Biotechnology, PBT was honored by the visit of Professor Martina Schmidt, Professor of Molecular Pharmacology, and head of department of Molecular Pharmacology in Groningen University accompanied by Prof. Dieter Fritsch the Vice-Chairman of Board of Trustees in GUC. Spanning 11-14 May 2023, Schmidt visited research labs and facilities of the faculty of Pharmacy and Biotechnology after listening to an overview about GUC and PBT strengths and capacities. Prof. Schmidt acclaimed postgraduate students for their interest and enthusiasm in research, praised the high caliber of staff and powerful infrastructure of the university. Focused scientific meetings took place with members of the Pharmacology and Toxicology department to share common interest in research and plan future collaboration at the postgraduate research level.
