The Winter School “Research and Therapeutic Advances in Neuromuscular Diseases in the MENA Region” brings together clinicians, researchers and students from the Middle East & North Africa region, and Europe to gain knowledge about the latest clinical, research and therapeutic updates in the field of neuromuscular diseases, with a special focus on Spinal Muscular Atrophy and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. The regional challenges and research opportunities in this field will be discussed to pave the way to future potential collaboration.
The school is organized by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nabila Hamdi in collaboration with the Department of Neurology Ulm University, Germany and the Neuromuscular Unit, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt.
