The Alexander von Humboldt foundation has awarded Assoc. Prof. Rasha Hanafi the George Georg Forster Research Fellowship for Experienced Researchers for 13 months starting August 2019 to be spent in the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharma-bioanalysis Laboratory headed by Prof. Michael Laemmerhofer, University of Tuebingen. The fellowship project involved a metabolomics study targeting new biomarkers in pathological conditions. The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation’s network is considered Germany’s most important international network, connecting the world’s leading researchers.
